FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A little more context.

Straight answers about meanings, privacy, downloads and how these small tools work.

Your questions

Are all six tools actually free?

Yes. The tools in this site package have no payment step, subscription, account requirement or usage gate. Normal internet or printing costs are outside the site’s control. You can generate, copy, print and download results without registering.

Are these official emoji definitions?

No. They are concise editorial summaries of common English-language uses. The bundled reference is finite and may miss new or less familiar symbols. Emoji names are descriptive labels, not proof of what someone intended.

Does an emoji always mean the same thing?

No. Context, culture, age group, relationship and community conventions can change the reading. A symbol may be affectionate, sarcastic, literal or a private joke. The tools cannot determine intent, so ask for clarification when an interpretation matters.

Does the site read my messages?

No. The tools cannot access chats, accounts, contacts, a camera or clipboard contents. Text you choose to type into a tool is used only in that browser view. The message planner does not analyze your draft; it uses your chosen intent and tone to select a pairing.

Where are my inputs stored?

The tools keep input and result state in the current browser page, not on the server, in an account, in browser local storage or in cookies. The tools do not deliberately save it after you leave. Your browser may independently restore tabs or form state; use a private device and clear browser data when appropriate.

What does Download text include?

A plain-text file of the current result, including any optional notes you entered and the context warning. Quiz downloads include an answer key at the end. Review the file before sharing it. Downloads are saved by your browser and are no longer temporary page data.

Can I print a result on my phone?

Use Print result to open the browser’s print dialog. Your device may offer a printer or Save as PDF. Availability depends on the browser and operating system; this site does not connect to a print service or upload your result. Quiz printouts include an answer key.

Why is my emoji not found?

The finder uses a local reference, not a live lookup. A new symbol, a flag or a joined sequence may not have an entry. Presentation selectors and common skin-tone modifiers are ignored for matching, but unsupported joined sequences remain unsupported. Search a related word instead of assuming the symbol has no meaning.

Why do emoji look different on another phone?

This site uses device fonts with a bundled emoji fallback, not remote image lookups. Artwork, sequence support and color rendering vary by platform. A missing-glyph box usually means the device lacks that character or sequence; updating the device may help, but appearance is not controlled by this site.

How does the quiz decide an answer?

It checks against the selected common meaning in the bundled reference. Three other entries provide distractors. The score counts matching answers only; it is not a test of cultural knowledge, intent-reading or language proficiency. Other interpretations can still be valid in a real conversation.

Do the planners send messages or make arrangements?

No. They only arrange user-entered inputs and curated suggestions. They do not send greetings, create calendar events, book anything, confirm an order, fetch live prices or exact rates, or read a live status. You decide what to do with the result.

Can the tools work without an internet connection?

Once a tool page and its scripts have loaded, its calculations and lookups run locally without further network requests from the tool. This is not a guaranteed offline app: reloading or opening another WordPress page normally needs internet access. A downloaded text result can be read offline.

Are cookies or analytics used by these tools?

The plugin’s public tools do not set cookies or include analytics, advertising, remotely hosted fonts or remote API calls. WordPress, the hosting provider, a security service or other installed extensions may behave differently. The site operator must keep the Cookie Notice and Privacy Policy aligned with the actual installation.

How can I report a problem accessibly?

Use the Contact page to prepare a note with the tool, browser, steps and barrier. It is a local note builder, not a server submission form. An operator-configured email link may be offered; otherwise download the note and use a contact channel the site owner has published elsewhere.
